Q: What is Magic: The Gathering(M:tG)?

A: Magic: the Gathering is a collectable card game (CCG) that came out in 1993. It was published by Wizards of the Coast, who is now owned by Hasbro. As a player, you become a Planeswalker, a wizard capable of traveling between worlds, in a duel with other Planeswalkers where you cast spells to do battle.

Q: What do you need to play M:tG?

A: In order to play M:tG you need two (or more) decks that follow the rules of a particular format, and at least one other player depending on the format.
