The Library purchased institutional access to The Chronicle of Higher Education for SPSCC. Every SPSCC student and/or employee has access to The Chronicle of Higher Education by activating their individual subscription with their SPSCC email.
1. Go to The Chronicle of Higher Education website, then click on the Sign In link at the upper right corner of the website.
2. Fill in the form to create your Chronicle account. You must use your SPSCC email to activate your Chronicle subscription.
Note: Your Chronicle account is separate from your ClipperID account! Any password changes on one account will not automatically be linked to the other account.
3. Once you submit your form, you will be sent a confirmation link to your SPSCC email. Go to your SPSCC email to find the Chronicle confirmation link email and click on it to confirm your subscription. Below is a screenshot of the Chronicle email.
4. Your subscription is now activated! Use your Chronicle account to log into The Chronicle of Higher Education website at any time, anywhere.
The Chronicle of Higher Education publishes in-depth reports that examine critical issues and trends in higher education. Follow the directions below to find the reports that SPSCC has access to.
1. Go to The Chronicle of Higher Education website.
2. Scroll down the page until you see the box for "News and Information for South Puget Sound Community College" and click on the link to Visit Your Page Now.
3. Under the section for Institutional Reports, select the report that you want to read.
