  • "Overcoming Math Anxiety" webinar
    July 2018 webinar hosted by the Coalition on Adult Basic Education. "Mathematics anxiety affects almost half of the learners in our classrooms. Scientists have proven that this fear actually interferes with the part of the brain needed for reasoning and problem-solving. Math anxiety can affect teachers as well as students. In this presentation, participants will learn exactly how math anxiety affects learners and specific techniques to help ease and overcome these effects."
