Below are some APA handouts that might be helpful to you to get you started.
As you gather your information sources for your paper, please remember to collect basic citation information that you will need to make your References list (aka bibliography). Below is a basic list of things to collect, but depending on what kind of source you're using, you may need to collect additional information to make a proper citation.
Titles
For articles, you'll need both the journal title and the article title
For websites, note both the site name and the page title if you can find them
Authors (might be a person, organization, institution, or other entity)
Publish Year
For articles, note also the volume, issue, and page numbers if they have it
Publisher or Website address (aka URL)
For articles, note the DOI if it is available. A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is a string of numbers, letters, and symbols used to uniquely identify an article or document, and to provide it with a permanent web address (URL).
