The SPSCC library uses the Library of Congress system for organizing materials and cooking falls under Home Economics, which is subclass TX and runs form 642 to 840. Baking specifically is filed under the call numbers TX763 to TX765.

If you are using a public library, such as the Timberland Regional Library (which is a great resource as well), they use the Dewey Decimal System, cooking is in 640, Home and Family Management subclass. Baking is specifically labeled under 641.
