Upside-Down Transfer Option

The Upside-Down transfer option allows a block of 90 quarter credits to be transferred after successful completion of 32 quarter credits at Evergreen.

The following degrees may be eligible for the Upside-Down transfer option:

  • Associate of Applied Science-Transfer (AAS-T)
  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS)
  • Associate of Technical Arts (ATA)
  • Associate of Applied Technology (AAT)

To qualify for the Upside-Down transfer option, a student must complete the following prior to starting classes at Evergreen:

  • Earn a 2.5 cumulative college-level GPA
  • Complete English 101 or equivalent earning a “C” grade (2.0) or better
  • Earn a minimum of 20 academic quarter hours of college-level credits with a GPA of 2.0 or higher in each course.  No more than 10 credits earned in the same subject area can count toward the 20 credit minimum and English 101 may count towards this requirement.
