Working towards a redesign of CCS 105 Library Research course at SPSCC, I created the following materials to structure the work of this course.
Collaborative Research in Action: Climate Justice in Olympia, WA - This assignment is the major, course-long assignment.
Climate Justice Zine - is an assignment, which is part of the larger assignment. It could be adapted to become a stand-alone assignment wherever students are engaged in exploring climate solutions and sharing their findings in a unique, personalized fashion.
Hopefully sometime in the future I can teach that and run with this re-design. Very recently made a proposal for a new lesson/module that I’m calling Using Comedy (and Research) to Debunk Climate Denial Claims, which hopefully I’ll get a chance to develop.
